Crazy Beautiful

So I officially live in Tumbes, Peru. It is in the very north, bordering Ecuador. I have been here for about three weeks now. Rumor has it that it is hot and dangerous. I will sweat off fifty lbs. and be robbed atleast once within my two year period- so they say. My host family is large and loud which feels just like my childhood. The chickens,sheep, goats and donkeys keep me up all night. A monkey bit my hand when I was in Ecuador shopping for tupperwear. Birds fly around my room because I have a hole where a window should be and scorpions crawl in and out of the holes in my wall and past my head at night. I got to the beach when I want. I find pleasure in anything at all that tastes deliciously like home. I jog in my town with rocks in my hands so I can fight off the dogs that try to attack me. I had and probably still have parasites. It is suicide to not tuck in the mosquitoe net I sleep under correctly. People believe anything I say about the U.S. I am usually the biggest/tallest person in the room. I say ridiculous things when I try to talk Spanish sometimes. I have a besty named Justin who is from Oregon. The consistency of bowel movements is a common mealtime conversation.A lot of my time is spent coming up with great ideas for tanktops. I take a bath out of a bucket.
